Responsibility
- to ensure the financial integrity of the business and its accounts by conducting regular reconciliations of all its accounts
- to provide financial statements and reports to the business as and when required
- to produce the company’s annual reports and financial statements in draft to supply to the external accountants
- calculate any variances from budget, or bank account discrepancies and report significant issues to management
- process payroll in a timely manner
- to manage and complete all necessary financial management tasks within the office. Namely invoicing to customers, managing incoming invoices, maintaining a fixed asset register, purchasing, bookkeeping, supplier liaison, and credit control
- to manage external audits and be the point of contact for such audits
- to complete the day-to-day accounting tasks within the office, maintaining a cash flow and ensuring payments are managed in a timely way
Requirements
- level 4 AAT Qualified
- previous experience of working with accountancy software
- excellent keyboard and computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel
- excellent numeracy and financial awareness
- good attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to work well under pressure and without supervision
- business analyst experience advantageous
- accounting: 2 years
