we are seeking a dynamic and organised Hire Desk Controller to join our team
as a Hire Desk Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hire desk, managing customer inquiries, coordinating equipment rentals, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers
coordinate equipment bookings, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely delivery to customers
promote and uphold health and safety regulations within the hire desk area
serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, providing information on available equipment, and assisting with rental requests
offer outstanding customer service, addressing customer needs promptly and professionally
Requirements
previous experience in a similar role within the equipment hire or construction industry is preferred
strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
proficiency in using computer software and databases for order processing and record keeping
organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
knowledge of construction equipment and their applications is a plus
ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to a fast-paced environment
