Responsibility
- working safely, quickly, and efficiently to fulfil orders as required
- ensuring the entire kitchen area, equipment, and tools are continually cleaned as per cleaning schedule
- provide and present quality menu items that reflect our marketing and promotional styles
- follow established lists of opening and closing responsibilities
- monitor production yield, ordering processes, portion control, and costs to ensure budgetary targets are achieved
- having contingency plans to deal with problems as they arise
- record all relevant food preparation and production information before and during service
- ensure the entire kitchen area, equipment, and tools are continually cleaned as per policy/schedule
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years professional cooking experience in a restaurant / café
- at least 2 years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant / café
- must be available to work on weekends and evenings
- legal right to work in the UK without any current and or future work visa sponsorship
- prior experience delivering professional, friendly, and personalized customer service
- prior and current experience delivering professional, friendly, and personalized customer service
- knowledge of restaurant/food safety procedures and UK regulations
- level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety certification or ability to complete a refresher course prior to starting the job
