- to run both group and individual activities
- support members to access the local community
- ensure support and development plans are followed, this will include personal care and other daily care needs such as giving medication
- ensure members receive appropriate encouragement and support to maximise their abilities and independence and are provided with suitable and varied recreational opportunities
Requirements
- passionate about working with people and able to create an engaging atmosphere
- active listening skills for effective interaction with members and others
- ability to work occasional evenings and saturdays as required
- desirable full UK driving licence, willing to drive company vehicles
- previous experience of care or support worker role is desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate
