- candidates are required to have
- NPTC or equivalent certificates PA1, PA6 & PA2A
- working knowledge of the maintenance and preparation of natural sports surfaces
- working knowledge of the maintenance and preparation of all-weather sports surfaces
- ability to work as part of a team or individually using own initiative, a good time keeper and enjoy working outside
- national/Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2 – Sports Turf Maintenance or National Technical Certificate or proven track record working as a Groundsperson on a professional basis
