national/Scottish Vocational Qualification Level 2 – Sports Turf Maintenance or National Technical Certificate or proven track record working as a Groundsperson on a professional basis

it is essential that applicants possess a combination of both professional and academic qualifications
the post holder should therefore have qualified teacher status and school teaching experience
the ability to support teaching in subject areas or wider Professional Studies, would be welcome
your work will also involve some link tutoring and liaison with our partnership schools
we are seeking an enthusiastic part time Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education. Primary and/or Secondary school experience necessary alongside experience of mentoring in either a school or ITE setting
the majority of your work will involve teaching in a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students
for applicants not currently in possession of a doctoral qualification there will be a clear expectation to work towards such from commencing employment
