Responsibility
- complete banking and allocation of card payments and BACS receipts, including processing of the Housing Benefit Schedule
- reconciliation of banking to Housing Software
- preparation of weekly debt reports and communicate actions to Housing & Support Managers
- preparation and distribution of invoices
- processing and generating reminder letters and statements, weekly for current tenants and monthly for former tenants
- monitoring and maintenance of current and former tenant accounts
- reviewing agreed payment plans and preparing reminder letters for Support Teams to distribute if payments are missed
- taking payments over the phone by credit card
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- excellent spoken and written communication skills
