Responsibility
- work with Support to identify failure patterns and generate a solution for automation coverage correction
- design, develop, test data warehouse microservices
- design, develop, test and ship improvements to our query planner and optimizer
- model customer workloads and reintroduce into our continuous test framework
- help troubleshoot and fix issues encountered in the field
- work on creating, patenting and implementing advanced optimization techniques
- monitor and document client load impacts new software versions
- debug and enhance existing functionality
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience testing complex software stacks
- we are looking for a New College Graduate or someone with no more than 2 years' experience
- you have over 5 years of developing software that users are successfully running in production
- strong knowledge of and experience with automation tools
- you have experienced the cycle of design, development and customer release
- strong scripting skills in python or other high-level languages
- strong debugging skills with LLDB or GDB
- you are passionate about high performance and find it exciting to work on distributed systems
