Requirements

  • to work closely with the MD and other senior management to advise the business as required on all legal matters
  • lead on the procurement of external tax and legal advice/support, taking responsibility for its quality
  • develop solutions to complex legal questions; offer ad hoc legal support and analysis where needed
  • ensure business activities are conducted in conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures
  • identify and mitigate data protection risks, ensuring business compliance with GDPR
  • responsible for IR35 policies and procedures for the business
  • put in place and maintain structures and processes to ensure that the business and its subsidiaries are well advised on and work within legislation, regulatory, governance and contractual requirements
