YARDE FARM is looking for employees for positions:
maintenance person
Working hours
- part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- perform general maintenance and repairs tasks in various areas, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and basic construction
- inspect and troubleshoot equipment, identifying issues and implementing necessary repairs
- carrying out planned maintenance and compliance checks
- handle routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing leaking taps, Compliance checks and testing on site
- preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery as well as any repairs to the fabric issues on site
- conduct minor installations, assemble furniture, and perform other tasks as required
- part time – 20 hours, Monday to Friday
- minimising down time and fault finding on a range of machinery
Requirements
- proven experience in general maintenance with repairs to plumbing, electrical components, painting, and basic construction
- ideally you will have worked in food manufacturing production environments previously, however this is not absolutely necessary
- experience working as a Maintenance technician
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- good written and verbal communication skills
- excellent time management and organizational skills
- flexible with shifts and overtime to in the support production teams
- engineering qualifications, Minimum documented, electrical awareness and lock off tag out training
