Responsibility

  • about the Role
  • we are seeking a Lead Developer with experience in developing high-load PHP and MySQL based applications
  • the successful candidate will lead one of our development teams focused on developing the Xtremepush engagement platform
  • core technologies include PHP, MySQL, Linux, AWS, Javascript, Vue.js
  • key Responsibilities
  • act as the team lead, mentoring and supporting other team members
  • work closely with other engineers to advise on best practices, coach them and review the code
  • work in an agile manner, managing backlog and workload of the team

Requirements

  • strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical solutions simply to others
  • good understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, and other development patterns and best practices
  • understanding of distributed systems design- including asynchronous tasks scheduling and processing
  • experience working with high-performance systems, and solving complex engineering problems at scale
  • experience with Cloud and DevOps technologies
  • interest or experience with marketing technologies
  • 5+ years experience in a software development role using PHP
  • interest or experience with big data, data analytics, AI and machine learning
