Responsibility

  • carry out incident follow up actions when required
  • co-ordinate 3rd Party support when Electrical works or ‘Assisted Cable Pulls’ support is required

  • liaise with the Company’s Finance & Compliance Teams so as to ensure all completed jobs are invoiced as per the agreed payment terms and signed off to 9001 processes
  • promote and enforce compliance to quality and health & safety aspects in relation to all work aspects including implementation of company and/client processes, rules, standards and workmanship
  • carry out weekly checks on all serial numbered items including testers, laptops, etc

  • some field engineering experience in both Cat 5/5e/6/6a & fibre installation, terminating and testing will be a bonus
  • managing end to end structured cabling projects safely, on time, & within budget

  • ECS/CSCS will be a bonus

  • compile low level design and as built documentation packs for submission into TFL document management system
  • client responses to be picked up and addressed directly or through consultation with relevant delivery team personnel
  • packs are comprised of multiple documents, including, but not limited to Topologies, Schedules, General Arrangements, Space Applications and will require review and validation prior to submission
  • the level of engagement with the various delivery units producing the documentation should increase quickly to the point that ownership of the process and direct accountability to the TfL project engineer can be achieved
  • the role will focus on Station designs but will expand to Gate 5 – As Built submissions so as to address volume challenges as they occur
