Working hours

Responsibility

  • provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • manage and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality
  • greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
  • sort and distribute incoming mail, emails, and other correspondence
  • maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible
  • the company was founded in 1994 as a family-run garden maintenance business and have since grown into a multi award-winning limited company working on many large, high value projects across Dorset and Hampshire
  • assist with scheduling meetings and appointments, including coordinating calendars

Requirements

  • experience with bookkeeping or basic accounting tasks
  • previous experience in a similar industry or field
  • proven experience as an office administrator, administrative assistant, or in a similar role
  • proficient in using office software and equipment, including MS Office and office management tools
  • excellent organisational and time management skills
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
