Responsibility
- strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the company’s ISO 9001 policies & vision
- management of inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing & maintenance operations
- liaise with suppliers, distributors, and customers to plan and maintain stock levels whilst ensuring industry leading product delivery timeframes
- prepare annual budget
- plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately & appraise results
- recruit, select, orient, coach & motivate employees
- produce reports & statistics regularly
- receive feedback & monitor the quality of services provided
Requirements
- ISO 9001 and auditing experience
- valid Forklift Truck license
- proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor or assistant manager
- expertise in warehouse management procedures & best practices
- proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators
- hands-on experience with warehouse management software & databases
- leadership skills & ability to manage staff
