Responsibility
- produce high quality animations which create thrilling, story-driven moments
- work closely with the Rigging and Pipeline departments providing suggestions and feedback to improve character setup, rigs and tool functionality
- submitting shots for review and follow through with notes and feedback if required
- meet delivery deadlines under production constraints
- work closely with Supervisors and Pipeline department to develop tools and workflows associated with animation
Requirements
- A thorough knowledge of Maya
- A traditional animation and/or art background
- an excellent understanding of motion, weight, balance and form
- previous experience working with motion capture data
- an excellent understanding of rigs and typical rigging set-ups and transferring data between tools
- good knowledge of cinematic language and camera terminology
- A working knowledge of Modeling, Rigging and Mel/Python scripting
- basic knowledge of Python and/or Mel scripting
