  • we currently have an opportunity for a conscientious and enthusiastic individual to join the Parts Department at our Avonmouth Depot in the capacity of Parts Advisor
  • with the emphasis on customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for wherever possible offering any additional parts and accessories to customers and identifying, locating and picking parts for workshop staff and customers by means of acquired knowledge, parts catalogues and computer stock lists
  • recording deliveries and maintaining a signature for the receipt of goods
  • to receive stock into the department and correctly locate items
  • perform external stock checks with customers as required

Requirements

  • an HGV technical background and work experience in a truck dealership desirable
  • A recognised industry qualification such as vehicle maintenance and repair ideally at level 3
  • experience in delivering relevant technical training programmes that will have included recognised levels assessor/trainer in IRTEC IMI IVR Core Module
  • level 4 teaching qualification or willingness to obtain
  • full valid car driving licence. HGV licence ideal, but training will be arranged so not essential
  • willingness to travel to our other Depots occasionally
