Responsibility

  • to be familiar with W&W's products/services, support its business objectives
  • to be strategic and confident in identifying opportunities and senior decision-makers within relevant businesses
  • to understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet it
  • to research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • to perform any other duties as directed by the Business Development Manager
  • to progress to a sale of products and/ or services offered by the company, generate leads through a cold call, cold email or meeting prospective customers
  • to foster and maintain regular contact and visits with existing and potential clients, ensure both are aware of the products and services offered by the company
  • to research and be knowledgeable with regards to new development in the cross-border trade and marketing industry, especially between China and the UK. Make content creation and update for the company website, LinkedIn and others

Requirements

  • previous experience of working in a business development role in the cross-border trade/e-commerce industry
  • A sound and proven knowledge and experience working within customers management
  • cross-border trade/e-commerce industry: 1 year
