Working hours

Responsibility

  • liaising with the building management team to ensure the satisfactory maintenance of building facilities
  • managing the day to day running of the game development studio, overseeing the delivery of office & facilities services as well as upcoming projects
  • the first/main point of contact at the studio, keeping the visitor logbook updated and ensuring NDA’s have been completed if required
  • overseeing all aspects of health and safety to ensure compliance with regulations and adherence by staff, external visitors, and contractors
  • managing the display screen equipment process
  • managing contracts with suppliers and oversee the procurement of services and goods such as stationery and kitchen supplies
  • coordinating company travel requests, looking to source suitable and cost-effective bookings
  • managing general maintenance of the building alongside third-party suppliers for cleaning, secure waste disposal, and specialist recycling

Requirements

  • project management skills with an ability to improve organisational effectiveness and support a culture of continuous improvement
  • strong organisational skills
  • negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • effective communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • strong computer skills, with a good understanding of Office software packages
  • experience of procurement and working to budget constraints
  • experience in leading health and safety compliance. IWFM, NEBOSH or IOSH qualified advantageous
  • first Aid & Fire Marshal trained or willing to obtain the relevant qualification
