Requirements
- continuous Improvement
- experience of working in a quality department in a manufacturing environment
- HNC or higher in Quality or Engineering
- internal Auditor certified
- qualification in and/or exposure to Lean Six-Sigma methodologies
- knowledge of injection moulding and polymers
- certified training in the safe use and operation of materials handling equipment
Responsibility
- the provision of engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques
- effectively communicate and reinforce business commitment to quality improvement efforts
- observance of Health and Safety requirements including COSHH
- seek, introduce and adopt best practice solutions within our Quality Team
- motivate and train personnel in all aspects of the Quality role & management system
- co-ordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production and Tool Room to resolve customer complaints and concerns
- perform duties in accordance with quality system requirements
- conduct investigations into particular quality problems so that root causes are identified and effective corrective and preventive measures are put in place
