Responsibility

  • to ensure that all guests are welcomed to the hotel and delivering friendly and efficient service to guests
  • to deal with any guest queries or problems during their stay and ensure that they are being looked after
  • carrying out operational tasks, such as Checking in/out guests, Bar service
  • conducting fire walks and ensuring that the building is safe and secure during the shift
  • providing accurate shift handovers ensuring all items requiring attention are detailed and the shift checklist is completed to required standard
  • ensuring telephones are answered promptly and politely, according to Company standard
  • ensuring all information is communicated to the relevant department in the interest of providing excellent customer service
  • being fully aware of and understanding Fire, Bomb, Health & Safety and emergency procedures

Requirements

  • previous Hotel Reception experience in a quality hotel
  • excellent communications skills
  • A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and Excellent customer service skills
  • knowledge of Opera, Rezlynx PMS advantageous
