Responsibility
- to ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
- to provide written reports and documentation that truly reflects the progress of the YP for planning meetings/reviews
- to undertake any training that is deemed appropriate to your position
- responsible for working alongside Manager & the Deputy Manager in Children's Residential Home. Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs
- to attend staff meetings and be a positive role model to the children at their meetings
- ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift
- to be able to address standards of behaviours from children, in a calm non-confrontational and constructive manner
- to communicate effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place
Requirements
- ideal candidate must hold Diploma in Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce
- experience of working with young people that have social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
- full driving licence
- ability to work shifts and sleep in
- working in a Children's Residential: 2 years
- support Environment: 1 year
