Requirements
- dept. of Education and Science Motor Trade Certificate or National Craft
- monthly Maintenance Report that must include any maintenance or service that has been carried out
- accurately and promptly report all maintenance activity, spare usage and consumables usage
- other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the service department as directed by the Project Manager
- ability to work before and after business hours as required
- travel with minimal advance notice
- valid driver’s license and good driving record required
- report – Cert
Responsibility
- promptly and professionally respond to service calls
- provide service support as needed
- execute ongoing preventative maintenance routines and ensure that servicing is carried out in line with policy and as required
- liaise with Test Centre Managers, Supervisors and fellow Maintenance
- safely and accurately maintain supply of equipment spares and consumables
- provide input to the service department for review/evaluations
- to ensure effective servicing of equipment in the MOT test centres, and ongoing preventative maintenance to maximise uptime of the facilities in their region
- troubleshoot and repair equipment as required to ensure contractual compliance to fit for use limits, response time and equipment downtime requirements
