Responsibility

  • bank Reconciliation
  • CIS Returns: File monthly CIS returns, communicate with subcontractors, verify information with HMRC, and issue subcontractor statements of deductions
  • payroll Support: Assist in payroll preparation, working closely with the Finance Director
  • collaboration and Coordination: Liaise with company accountants, payroll providers, suppliers, and subcontractors via email, ensuring seamless communication
  • month-End Reporting: Support month-end management accounts reporting, including payroll, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation journals
  • supplier Invoice Management: Receive, scan, and process supplier invoices using Xero or Procore, ensuring proper matching to purchase orders and timely bill generation

Requirements

  • AAT Level 2 qualified or higher
  • proficiency in Xero or similar Accounting Software
  • experience of completing CIS Returns
  • prior experience with Procore
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or related experience
