Responsibility
- lead the Senior Leadership Team , maintaining accountability for all staff members
- compliant with all requirements of the Woodside Group Ofsted readiness checklist
- collate and analyse attendance data, creating and implementing attendance improvement plans, as necessary
- responsibility for the preparation of Schemes of Work and communication of these to the relevant parties
- liaise with Local Authority, ensuring partnership and collaboration, including providing sole point of contact for student related concerns
- uphold Safer Recruitment practices in recruitment activities
- responsibility for complying with the Woodside Group adopted teacher matrix
- demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
Requirements
- experience of working with children with Autism
- HLTA qualification
- ability to teach ICT & Computing to students of all ages and abilities
- competent in administering first aid
- A deep and thorough understanding of autism, perhaps backed up by Autism Level 1/ Level 2
- experience of teaching in a variety of educational settings
- an ability to communicate with staff and students
- A commitment towards CPD
