Requirements
- be willing to learn and progress within the business as pay would rise with skill level
- the right candidate should have some experience in boats ,carpentry or painting trades either in a job or at college level and have an understanding and experience with hand tools and power tools
- you will be required to be punctual, hard working, able to work on your own or with others, be creative and have an eye for detail
- job Type: Full-time
- pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
- expected hours: 40 per week
Responsibility
- repairing boats using carpentry and GRP laminating skills
- sanding,prepping, painting and varnishing
- repairing and refurbishing teak decks
- fabricating and fitting synthetic teak decks
- general maintenance, cleaning and repair
- you would be required to use hand and power tools as well as wood working machinery, thermal welders and flooring tools
- all the work is carried out in Cobbs Quay marina, either in the water or in a workshop as well as the numerous marina's in the local area
