- experience of working in a Production food environment
- able to demonstrate a positive attitude and a personal responsibility for driving change
- level 3 Engineering mechanical and electrical
Responsibility
- to facilitate the logging of all breakdowns on the appropriate recording system
- to understand production priorities so they can control resources and respond to breakdowns in an efficient manner
- carry out hands on work within the appropriate disciplines
- the role involves working on a range of different activities and projects supporting the manufacturing department. Working within the Engineering department to provide assistance on all engineering activities
- work on projects to specify new equipment and plant installations
- promote risk assessments to ensure safe systems of working
- to communicate an overview of your activities and other relevant information to the other engineers and departments
- actively pursue opportunities for training in specialist plant and equipment
