Requirements

  • experience as a Workshop Technician or similar role
  • strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems
  • confident in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in plant equipment, including wiring, sensors, switches, and control systems
  • excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure thorough diagnosis and repair of equipment
  • communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
  • ideally will also have electrical knowledge
  • relevant certifications or qualifications in LGV, HGV and/or plant mechanics

Responsibility

  • conduct routine maintenance checks on all HGV and plant equipment to identify and address potential issues proactively
  • diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components of our equipment, vehicles and plant machinery
  • perform preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to extend the lifespan of equipment
  • you will utilise your technical expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and malfunctions on our specialist equipment in plant machinery electrical systems
  • collaborate with team members to coordinate repair efforts and ensure efficient workflow within the workshop
  • document maintenance and repair activities accurately, including parts used, labour hours, and equipment condition using our digital format
  • as a Workshop Technician you will work on HGV, LGV and Plant Equipment, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of our diverse range of machinery
