- provide an efficient, accurate and high quality word processing service for GPs and Health Professionals as required
- this includes the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals, minutes, invoices, memorandums
- we electronic tools which require editing and formatting before saving, printing and sending
- NHS pension available
- ensure that all word-processing of correspondence and reports is dealt with promptly and efficiently in accordance with agreed target times
Requirements
- communicate effectively with other team members
- communicate effectively with patients and carers
- recognise people’s needs for alternative methods of communication and respond accordingly and with politeness and respect at all times
- trustworthy and discreet – you will see a great deal of highly sensitive information and the maintenance of absolute patient confidentiality is essential
- IT literate – you will be comfortable operating with standard MS Office software
- diligent - a high level of accuracy is required as the data inputting relates to vital clinical and other confidential information used in patient care. Errors could result in harm to patients
- self-management – You will manage your own workload efficiently and alert your line manager if any backlogs develop. You will work in a timely manner and prioritise appropriately
