Responsibility
- manage and oversee the daily operations of a residential home for older adults
- develop and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met
- provide leadership and guidance to a team of caregivers, nurses, and support staff
- coordinate and schedule medical appointments and transportation for residents
- monitor and assess the health and well-being of residents, including medication management
- maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, ensuring compliance with all regulations
- foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, promoting their independence and dignity
- communicate effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- previous experience in managing a care home
- knowledge of dementia care and best practices in home care
- strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff
- ability to develop and implement care plans based on individual needs
- compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors
- valid nursing license or relevant certification is preferred but not required
