Requirements
- at least a part qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years’ experience ideally in the charity sector
- able to travel to Manchester, UK for training
- ability to motivate staff and good interpersonal skills
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- excellent Supervisory/Management skills
- UK Payroll experience will be considered an advantage
- audit experience will be considered an advantage
Responsibility
- assist with financial reporting as per the organisations funding contracts
- authorising payments as per bank mandate
- assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
- assist with the preparation of the annual budget and input into the Xero Accounting system
- ensure that all travel invoices are properly accounted by way of quotation request forms, payment authorisation forms, and posting in Xero
- liaising with the organisations team on queries regarding financial transactions and procedures
- supervision of the Finance Officers, who are responsible for processing all receipts and payments on a timely basis and recording them on the accounting system
- assisting with any Xero training when required
