Requirements
be qualified to either ACA, ACCA or CIMA finals level
possess strong, flexible and commercial knowledge of leading and being part of the senior management team of a business
will have experience and proven ability of managing and motivating a team of Finance professionals
have an extensive knowledge of VAT and other statutory reporting criteria
experience of working within the charity sector is desirable
possess a working knowledge of non-accounting software relevant to the needs of the organisation

ensures that all suppliers queries are dealt with by the Finance team effectively and achieving the best resolution for the business
ensure finance processes and procedure support effective and efficient team working
preparation of annual accounts for external audit and internal review of both Boards and will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting as required for all statutory bodies in the UK
review the monthly accounts submitted by the third-party catering services provider, completing due diligence on the figures reported
champion innovation and continued improvement at a team and senior management level
ensures that all customers and suppliers have an excellent and consistent experience at Wicksteed Park
regular review of the working practices to ensure that all activity is focused and meeting the full requirements of the business
