- prepare the tax accounting work papers for year-end statutory accounts and liaise with the external tax advisers
- prepare and submit VAT returns in the UK with Making Tax Digital
Requirements
- experience of managing and leading hybrid teams both in office and remote
- ability to navigate and understand accounting systems
- strong technical accounting background, with an excellent commercial outlook
- ability to keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
- experience in VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales, Customs, Tax and other reporting compliance
- fully Qualified Accountant , 3-4+ years post qualified
- experience in managing the month end process including monthly reconciliations
- preferred 1-2+ years industry experience
