prepare the tax accounting work papers for year-end statutory accounts and liaise with the external tax advisers
prepare and submit VAT returns in the UK with Making Tax Digital
Requirements
experience of managing and leading hybrid teams both in office and remote
ability to navigate and understand accounting systems
strong technical accounting background, with an excellent commercial outlook
ability to keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
experience in VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales, Customs, Tax and other reporting compliance
fully Qualified Accountant , 3-4+ years post qualified
experience in managing the month end process including monthly reconciliations
preferred 1-2+ years industry experience
