  • understand and adhere to the principles of the Disability Discrimination Act
  • understand and adhere to the Mental Capacity Act
  • provide assistance with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • provide emotional support and guidance to clients
  • assist clients in developing and maintaining relationships with family, friends, and other professionals
  • organise activities for clients in accordance with their individual needs
