Responsibility
the engineer would need to maintain the gas safety records for each client, provide recommendations and quotations as required
currently WheatleyFM employs the services of an external company to undertake all its gas works, which includes planned servicing works, breakdowns and when required replacement of plant
we would like to find an engineer who would be able to bring the service in house and look after all the gas related works, rather than using an external company
the main objectives would be to ensure that as a company we are providing a full in-house service to our clients and the very best standards
as this is a new role within the company we are looking for an engineer to maintain the qualification and training records which they have gained to allow them to increase this side of the business
whilst most of our sites have some form of gas fired equipment on them, we don’t always look after the plant for some clients as they go out to external contractors – so the role of the mobile gas engineer would start off to be a small one, but once clients are aware that we offer the services in-house its hoped that they would move over to us
the engineer would need to be able to undertake several other tasks whilst the gas side of the business is increasing and this would include, but not limited to the following general items
participation in a 24/7 on call rota
