Responsibility
- you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and healthy kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with registration and legislative requirements
- preparing, cooking and serving nutritional meals to children and babies following a rotational menu
- preparation and cooking of food following the 2-weekly menu, this includes snacks, lunch, tea and desserts
- consider all children’s dietary requirements
- all food must be stored and served at the correct temperatures required
- temperatures of high-risk food must be recorded
- to complete documentation such as temperature checks, cleaning schedules, opening/closing checks, etc
- this role requires working in collaboration with others and taking responsibility for working in line with regulatory requirements and following setting policies and procedures
