Requirements
- education level – NVQ 5 or any similar relevant qualifications / time served experience
- certifications – Health & Safety Training, First Aid Training
- licences – Forklift License, preferrable but not essential
- proven experience in management in the warehouse and production environment
- team player with leadership and motivational skills
- safety management and warehousing health & safety
- excellent organisational and communication skills
- flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude to achieve short notice customer requirements
Responsibility
- manage all aspects of the team including attendance, performance reviews and 121’s
- allocate workload equally and fairly between the teams ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule
- ensure all workload is scheduled in accordance with the requirements of the business
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and adherence to the procedures
- manage a suite of KPIs to monitor performance
- address NCR’s and other issues and create initiatives to prevent further occurrences
- ensure that all activities are efficient ensuring that areas are always kept clean and tidy
- hands on support where required to support the team as required
