Responsibility
- westfield Medical, a leading UK manufacturer of sterilisation barrier systems, is looking to recruit a Management Cost Accountant
- the ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, have strong organisation skills and will work closely with our operations team
- analyse actual recorded production against estimated production for labour and materials
- monitor standard costs and regularly update them
- time in motion studies during production to ensure accuracy of recorded production
- support roll-out of Epicor in our subsidiary, Granton Medical Ltd
- the role is a key role within the finance team, and reports directly to the Financial Director. The role will focus on developing the costing of products, analysing production variances and reducing stock
- real time implementation
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- qualified Accountant but will also consider part qualified
- manufacturing experience
- strong organisational skills keeping track of results to help improve accuracy
- managing workload to achieve all duties
- strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- problem solving skills
- good communication skills dealing with the operational team in the factory
