Responsibility

  • you will have some experience and/or knowledge and understanding of disabilities and the impact of discrimination
  • this includes promoting greater understanding about the dynamics of disability and domestic abuse and the support needs and challenges faced
  • you will work closely with our outreach team
  • the role is for 37.5 hours each week, Monday to Friday
  • the hours are 25 -30 per week and the working pattern can be negotiated at interview stage
  • as well as supportive outreach work, this role includes training hospital staff and sharing knowledge across the hospital
  • south West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service is looking for an advocate and outreach worker to support residents of Surrey living with a disability whose lives are affected by domestic abuse
  • south West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service is looking for a dynamic and confident Hospital Based Independent Domestic Violence Advisor or Domestic Abuse Worker
