Requirements

  • certificate in Purchasing & Supply or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
  • understanding of contract law, EU Procurement law, Corporate Governance
  • member of CIPS or equivalent
  • travel required to customer and site locations
  • knowledge and interest of office and/or procurement areas
  • ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • market and supplier/product knowledge including Procedures and catalogue management
  • ability to negotiate with suppliers and customers with persuasiveness
