Requirements
- NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care
- previous management/supervisory experience
- knowledge of Health and Safety rules, relating to Care Homes
- A caring nature and desire to make a difference in someone's life
- demonstrate up to date knowledge of the Care Sector, the running of a Care Home and the regulatory framework
- experience of working with vulnerable client groups
- the right to work in the UK
- approachable and supportive to individuals
Responsibility
- assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the Home in the absence of the Registered Care Home Manager
- manage a team including Care Managers, Care Workers and ancillary staff, ensuring best practice is carried out
- review the care needs of residents by their changing needs and by contractual requirements
- monitor and ensure that the general standards of hygiene and cleanliness in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained
- the Deputy Care Home Manager will support the Registered Care Home Manager in the day to day activities of running the home
- work closely with the Registered Care Home Manager to ensure Welbourn Hall is recognised for being a great place to live and work
