- the New Business Development Manager will spearhead our new business strategy, cultivating a robust new business pipeline

- co-creating the agency’s new business strategy and presenting it to the senior leadership team for approval
- translating agency objectives into actionable plans; identifying specific sectors and types of work and crafting a strategy for targeting desired clients
- representing the agency as the first point of contact for prospective clients
- responding to and completing detailed prospective Requests for Information and Requests for Procurement
- managing the lead capture process and qualifying and prioritising opportunities
- you will be responsible for a mix of inbound and outbound marketing, leveraging CRM systems and data analytics to pinpoint potential clients
- tracking agency wins and losses, reviewing performance, and making data-driven decisions
- analysing and managing new business budgets and making informed commercial decisions
- your knowledge of the advertising landscape, both within Wales and across the UK, will be instrumental in promoting and representing our brands
- presenting the agency’s unique selling proposition and positioning us for maximum impact
- you will be our first point of contact for potential clients, understanding their needs and objectives and relaying this information to our leadership team
- all the while, your comprehensive understanding of our service proposition and case studies will ensure a perfect match between client and agency objectives
- be the maestro behind new business pitches, casting a spell that secures new clients
Requirements
- also, having a firm understanding of our competitors and their market position will be an advantage
- strong strategic thinking, influencing ability, and relationship management skills are essential, as is a highly collaborative approach
- in this role, you'll need significant experience in business development and income generation management. You will understand the agency’s financial model and be able to make informed commercial decisions
