Responsibility
- serve beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails to guests in a prompt and friendly manner
- maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring that all glassware and supplies are readily available
- interact with customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- mix and prepare our recipe of classic cocktails to a very high standard
- monitor and enforce responsible alcohol service guidelines
- collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the bar
- adhere to health and safety guidelines and sanitation standards
- lead shifts and close down the bar when senior management are not present. Including key holding responsibilities
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential
- an in-depth knowledge of beer, wine and spirits is required
- A good knowledge of cocktail preparation skills are desirable but not essential for the right candidate
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- an almost over-the-top level of attention to detail
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- must be a team player and work well with others
