Responsibility
- we are looking for someone that can join our small software developer team
- these segments include Offshore renewable energy marine operation simulation, GUI development, web server and distributed computing
- you will be joining a small team of developers helping to contribute features, and architect software/infrastructure decisions to best serve the products requirements
- you will be developping and contributing to code-bases with an emphasise on asynchronous and distributed computation, giving the opportunity to learn a variety of modern tools for parallel/distributed computation, cross-platform GUI development, continuous integration, and deployment
- they will take ownership/leadership of certain segments of the product, taking lessons from previous iteration, and new feature requirements, to develop the next version
- you will develop and contribute to the development of our internal software in preperation for public launch and play a key role in the design
- the software developer position will directly help Wave Venture in producing the next iteration of our software: a consumer-facing software package, that enables simulation and analysis of offshore renewable projects
Requirements
- masters degree level or above qualification is desirable
- requirements capture, into data structure modelling/interface design
- graphical Use Interface and 3D rendering
- python and its data science libraries
- kubernetes and distributed computing
- interest in data analysis
- ability to write clean readable maintainable code
- A compiled performant language such as: C++, Rust, Go, Swift, etc
