Requirements
- degree/Diploma in building/construction, or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field
- demonstrated experience in delivering large building or infrastructure projects and managing structural trades
- demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment
- ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships
- demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills

Responsibility
- organise sequencing of on-site activities including the coordination of materials, equipment, personnel, and materials handling plant
- review the construction programme with the Site Manager, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date
- ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents
- proactively drive company safety, environment and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times
- in consultation with the Site Manager, allocate necessary site staff and resources and confirm that all the resources for the project will be available when required
- ensure that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented and policed at the work face
