  • manual turning
  • tool and part setting on CNC lathes
  • running heavy machinery production cycles
  • monitor component dimension using multiple methods to ensure parts are manufactured to specification
  • identification and selection of appropriate raw materials to suit the job specification
  • load raw material or parts to automated machines
  • inspect parts visually and with precision measuring equipment to ensure parts produced remain within set tolerances
  • address and report issues that might occur during the operation and bring to attention of management where necessary
