Excellent IT skills are just as important, and you’ll ideally have experience of using estimating software. Either way, you’ll bring strong attention to detail, accurate reporting skills, a professional approach, and a genuine ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Finally, you’ll also need a full, valid driving license.Responsibilities;Spearheading our estimating function across the regionProviding essential advice and guidance on all construction projectsWorking with our buying department to produce material enquiriesDelivering analytical tenders for all projects from bills of quantities, specification and drawingsPreparing costs, negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers, and leasing across the businessDelivering the best possible value and serviceReview tender designs and compile suggested schedule of value engineering opportunitiesAttend site surveysSkills;Ideally project values from £1Mil upwardsCommercial/Data Centre/Energy/Healthcare sectorMin of 2 years demonstrateable work historyAmbitiousTeam playerBenefits for Electrical Estimator;Mobile Phone/LaptopPensionAbove average holiday allowance
