Responsibility

  • walker Group Operate in the aerospace and defence sector from our HQ in Glasgow and additional sites in England and Poland
  • this newly created position will be primarily responsible for partnering with the business leadership team to resource and develop their teams
  • equally important is the need to align and embed people strategy across our UK sites to enable the business growth plan
  • effective employee communications & engagement
  • full 'employee lifecycle' management
  • line manager support, coaching and ER case management
  • we have an exciting growth plan over the next few years which will be enabled through great talent development, enhanced organisational effectiveness and strong people practices therefore we are looking to expand our HR team
  • ownership of reward & recognition activity from policy to payroll support
