Responsibility
- we are a bathroom distribution company currently looking for an experienced transport and logistics manager to join our friendly team
- within this role, you will liaise with sales and operations daily to ensure rigid functions are operated as efficiently as possible and that the companies' and customers’ needs are met
Requirements
- all aspects of goods out including managing our online order processing
- responsible for the day-to-day routing of our 5-van fleet of drivers
- organising the routes and schedules for the drivers
- update drivers' hours, holidays, and sickness onto the appropriate records
- be on-hand to assist drivers in re-routing when problems arise
- downloading drivers’ cards/tachographs; Maintaining tachograph analysis records and file them in line with legislation
- support the safe, legal, and efficient execution of transport operations
- getting in agency staff for driving and warehouse when needed
