Responsibility
- provide personal care and assistance to senior clients in their homes
- assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- escort clients to appointments or social outings
- monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in senior care or a related field preferred
- compassionate and patient demeanor
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
- ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- providing care: 1 year
