Responsibility
- we are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join us, with the support of becoming a fully qualified Accountant
- it is a varied role producing management accounts and ad-hoc reports whilst ensuring that proper systems and controls are in place
- the department currently includes four fully qualified accountants along with seven people studying towards qualifications
- ensure that the computer accounting system operates efficiently in order to produce monthly management accounts in accordance with established timescales
- prepare summary daily operating control figures
- prepare monthly management accounts and submit manufacturer composite data
- the role will report to a dedicated Management Accountant and there are a further four Assistant Management Accountants in the team alongside two further Management Accountants
- analyse monthly management accounts in order to highlight areas to improve profitability
