Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects or issues to the Transport Manager
  • provide excellent customer service, communicating with customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • keep accurate records of all deliveries and collections
  • ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles, both inside and out
  • tramping out from time to time will be necessary
  • operate Category C+E HGV vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with UK driving regulations
  • load and unload goods in a safe and secure manner, ensuring that all loads are correctly secured and adhering to health and safety guidelines

Requirements

  • driving
  • hold a valid Driver CPC qualification
  • hold a valid Tachograph card
  • no more than 6 points for minor endorsements
  • have a good understanding of UK driving regulations and tachograph laws
  • have good geographic knowledge of UK roads
  • be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks such as loading and unloading goods
  • have excellent communication and customer service skills
